Nominations for the 2010 Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards are now open.

Nominations close at 5pm Tuesday 15 June 2010

2010 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards

Perth has been announced as the host for the 2010 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, to be held on Friday 11 March 2011 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex.

The winners from categories 1–26 at the 2010 Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards will proceed as finalists at this national event.

2009 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards results

The 2009 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards were held in Hobart on Friday 26 February 2010. The Canberra region was well represented at the gala dinner and was delighted to support the two ACT winners on the night; Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre in the Tourist Attraction category and the National Folk Festival in the Festivals and Events category.

Congratulations to Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre and the National Folk Festival for their achievement and demonstration of tourism excellence in the Canberra region.
